  Simon the owner visited twice before fitting our Dean Forge Sherford Slimline 5 wood burning stove and slate hearth. After previous visits from 2 other companies, both of whom were reluctant to take on a job which wasn't straightforward, Simon had the knowledge and skill - as well as being incredibly thorough and nice! The quote was very prompt, thorough and competitive and we felt completely trusting in Simon and his Manager, Pete, who worked really hard to do the install in a day. The stove is brilliant, as is the showroom and the whole team are very helpful. We are very happy to have been able to support a local company and highly recommend them!

  Asked for work from dean forge. The work was poor and incomplete. They made out if we were mad and never explained what we wanted. Refused to pay and threatened with court action if we did not settle. Cost us a packet and never got what we asked for. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour from the company and made me feel physically sick as I had to cough up. Avoid like the plague. I would not want anyone else to get stung like we did. Buyers beware

  Having had poor responses from two other woodburning stove companies we were pleasantly surprised with Dean Forge. Everything that said they would do they did do. Communications were excellent. Email confirmations/ quotes on the day and followed up next day by post. We had New stove and New flue fitted and everything was as described. Big job and well done Dean Forge.
